Almost 8 years ago, yarn bombs (urban examples of guerrilla knitting) started appearing in Den Helder, Netherlands. Now this public method of warming up dull locations has spread to New York City, London, Seattle, Los Angeles, and many other metropolitan areas. Like it or not, you may find many forms of crochet and knit art including tree socks, rail stockings, meter cozies, and benchwarmers to modify your visual experience in an otherwise banal urban environment.
